Getting started

  1. On your Mac device: install CalendarChannelBridge and open it. When your Mac asks for permission to access your calendars, choose Allow.
  2. On your Apple TV: install CalendarChannel from the App Store and open it.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps in CalendarChannel to connect it to CalendarChannelBridge. You'll find more help on the How to use page inside the app.

Common questions

Which calendars can CalendarChannel show?

Apple Calendar on your Mac device and the calendar subscriptions linked to it, such as Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar.

Does CalendarChannelBridge work on iPhone or iPad?

No. CalendarChannelBridge runs on Mac devices only.

My events aren't showing up on my TV.
  1. Make sure your Mac device is turned on, awake, and that CalendarChannelBridge is open.
  2. On your Mac, open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars and make sure CalendarChannelBridge is turned on.
  3. Make sure the event appears in Apple Calendar on your Mac. If it isn't there, CalendarChannel can't see it either.
  4. Quit and reopen CalendarChannel on your Apple TV.
How do I set up the weather?

In CalendarChannel, open Settings and enter your zip code. If you skip this, CalendarChannel uses your Apple TV's location instead.

Why do I only see event titles and times?

On purpose. Your TV is in a shared room, so CalendarChannel shows just enough to plan your day and leaves out details like notes, attendees, and locations.

Does CalendarChannel collect my data?

No. Your calendar stays between your own Mac device and your own Apple TV. See the CalendarChannel privacy policy for details.
