Getting started

  1. On your Mac device: install CalendarBridge and open it. When your Mac asks for permission to access your calendars, choose Allow.
  2. On your Apple TV: install CalendarTV from the App Store and open it.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps in CalendarTV to connect it to CalendarBridge. You'll find more help on the How to use page inside the app.

Common questions

Which calendars can CalendarTV show?

Apple Calendar on your Mac device and the calendar subscriptions linked to it, such as Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar.

Does CalendarBridge work on iPhone or iPad?

No. CalendarBridge runs on Mac devices only.

My events aren't showing up on my TV.
  1. Make sure your Mac device is turned on, awake, and that CalendarBridge is open.
  2. On your Mac, open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars and make sure CalendarBridge is turned on.
  3. Make sure the event appears in Apple Calendar on your Mac. If it isn't there, CalendarTV can't see it either.
  4. Quit and reopen CalendarTV on your Apple TV.
How do I set up the weather?

In CalendarTV, open Settings and enter your zip code. If you skip this, CalendarTV uses your Apple TV's location instead.

Why do I only see event titles and times?

On purpose. Your TV is in a shared room, so CalendarTV shows just enough to plan your day and leaves out details like notes, attendees, and locations.

Does CalendarTV collect my data?

No. Your calendar stays between your own Mac device and your own Apple TV. See the CalendarTV privacy policy for details.
